40. An tÚcaire agus an Gualadóir.

“Tair,” arsan gualadóir leis an úcaire, “agus deinimís aontíos. Níl ann ach beirt againn agus déanfaidh aon tigh amháin ár ngnó”.

“Ambasa,” arsan t-úcaire, “ní dhéanfadh san an bheart go deó.”

“Cad ’na thaobh?” arsan gualadóir.

“’S dó’”, arsan t-úcaire, “ní túisce ’ bheadh rud glan agamsa ná ’ bheadh sé salach agatsa.”
